Lufthansa unveils new collective wage deal

The carrier and Verdi agree on a phased pay rise and a one-off inflation bonus for ground staff.
Lufthansa AG and the Verdi union reached a new collective agreement on Tuesday.
Employees will receive a 7% pay rise over two years and a tax-free inflation bonus of EUR 3,000.
Both sides described the deal as a stable basis for the next bargaining cycle.
And they both regret it.
